After three long years, “Stranger Things” is finally coming out with a two-part fourth season. Netflix will release the first volume on May 27 and the second on July 1. Netflix has made three trailers for the new season that came out at different times. The first two were vague, but the recent trailer showed that everyone’s lives have changed.

Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp), Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) have moved away from Hawkins. The third trailer starts with Max (Sadie Sink) talking to her brother Billy (Dacre Montgomery) at his gravesite, coping with his death. She begins with, “Everything’s changed since you’ve died.” Max and Billy were not close as siblings. So, hearing Max say this was a little confusing.

Season four seems to be a continuation of the third season. Eleven notices that her powers are diminishing. Because of this, fans suspect that the series will bring Dr. Brenner, aka Papa (Matthew Modine), back since the eighth episode is titled “Papa.” They also think that Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser) will be more involved in the storyline. The third trailer suggests that Jim (David Harbour) is alive, and the group will try and rescue him somehow.

Sophomore Tabitha “Jule” Van Ness is excited about the new season. She has many theories, one of which is “Jim teleported.” Van Ness explained, “At the end of season three, he was gone, but, in the trailer, he is in a prison cell, so he probably found a way to teleport.” She also thinks that “Jim and Dr. Brenner will restore Eleven’s powers” and “Max will die.”

The show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, have confirmed there will be another season after this one, so hopefully, it will not be another three-year-long wait. There will be nine episodes once again. So, it will be short, but it has always been that way. It looks like there is a new monster that is bigger and floats. In a different scene of the third trailer, it shows Max levitating.

Will Max be okay? Why is Eleven losing her powers? Is Jim still alive? And did he teleport? Fans will find out at the end of May and are eager to see what is in store for the upcoming season of “Stranger Things.”
