Pros

  • Keeps you organized.
  • Helps you get all your thoughts down in one place.
  • An excuse to procrastinate…
    • Mom: Why aren’t you doing your homework, son??
    • Son: I am making a list of all my homework, mother.
    • Mom: Okay, honey. Have fun! *Skips away*
  • Can check things off as you go to keep track of what you have and have not done.

THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT LISTS YOU CAN MAKE:

  • To-do lists
  • Reasons- why lists
  • Reasons- why not lists
  • Jokes lists
  • Homework lists
  • Pros and cons lists
  • List lists
  • Hit lists

(The list goes on and on…)

Cons

  • Inefficient because you’re spending your time doing lists instead of doing the things you are making the list about
  • Wastes paper
  • Overwhelming to see everything together in one place *hyperventilates*
  • Your hand starts to ache after a little while.
  • Assuming you like making lists, you like making them so much that you end up trying to fill it with even the most insignificant things simply for the rush of making the list longer and may lead to unnecessary stress.

(Who am I kidding… lists are great).
