Ever wondered how to make delicious deviled eggs that the whole family can enjoy? Here is a very simple recipe that is sure to do the trick.

Deviled eggs are an easy make for an appetizer or just a snack. They don’t require much time or effort, and they can be made in mass amounts. All you need is a dozen eggs and a few other ingredients. This recipe can be doubled or reduced to however many eggs are needed.

Ingredients:

12 eggs

⅓ cup mayonnaise

Juice from half of a lemon

2 teaspoons of dijon or yellow mustard (based on your preference)

Salt and pepper to taste

Paprika to taste (optional)

Directions:

  1. Bring water and eggs to a boil for 10 to 15 minutes then drain and cool.
  2. After the eggs cool, peel and rinse them. Once dry, cut the eggs in half vertically down the middle and remove the yolks.
  3. In a small bowl, mix in the mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper with the yolks.
  4. Next, place the mix into a pastry bag or a plastic bag with the end snipped off to evenly spread the mix back into the eggs where the yolks used to be (or it could be scooped with a spoon).
  5. Lastly, sprinkle the desired amount of paprika over the eggs and enjoy!
