Austin McIntosh is a sophomore at North Forsyth High School. Austin’s goal as a writer is to get a laugh or frown from his readers. He is more public about his passion for sports and weight lifting than he is about videogames and books, but they are all prominent in his mind. Austin is likely to be found watching action and horror movies. His weakness is math, but he makes up for it in English. Austin’s favorite food is steak, and his favorite color is blue.

Any high school student in Forsyth County who failed his or her math course during the school year has a chance to receive credit needed for a diploma via the Forsyth County Summer Math Academy. The Summer Math Academy will be held during the month of June at Otwell Middle School and is an option for any student enrolled in the Forsyth County School System.

The North Forsyth track and field team represented the school very well at the County and Region Championship. Several athletes from the school had first place finishes, and they will find out soon if any of them qualified for the State Finals.
