Leilani Gibbons, Editor-in-Chief

Leilani Gibbons is a third year journalism student and (still) your neighborhood vegan. As a senior at North Forsyth, she in highly anticipating her upcoming graduation and the endeavours that may follow; although she is going to miss her teachers and journalism peers. Along with journalism, she is involved in YoungLife and Simple Charity and enjoys spending time with Jesus and friends through these clubs. With frequent trips to restaurants such as Fuku and Yaun Li, Gibbons considers herself a connoisseur of asian cuisine- objectively the best category of food. She greatly enjoys writing articles, believing that journalism allows the world to stay informed and connected, and she hopes to pursue the career while in college. As a second year editor on the Raider Wire staff, Gibbons is eager to see how she will cultivate her journalism skills through writing and editing during her final year of high school.
