Cynda Allen

Cynda Allen, Editor-in-Chief

Hello! My name is Cynda Allen. I am a senior this year, and this is my fourth & final year writing for the Raider Wire. I love reading, writing, drawing, and jewelry making. My favorite genre of music is metal, but I will listen to almost anything. Some of my favorite shows are “Supernatural,” “Clone High,” “Rick and Morty,” and “Ratched.” I also enjoy watching anime. Some of my favorite animes are “Death Note,” “Mob Psycho 100,” “Demon Slayer,” and “Jujutsu Kaisen.” I am obsessed with horror movies and serial killer documentaries. If I am not watching tv series, I am playing with my little sister, Kellie Grace, or catching up on schoolwork. I hope that my writing continues to grow and improve as this year progresses.

This piece is inspired by Ray Bradbury’s “There Will Come Soft Rains”. This is what I imagined happened before the nuclear holocaust. I changed some dates and names to make the short story more relevant. I also tried to keep his style of writing. Photo by: Catbus on DeviantArt
